Katy holds Bath County near to her heart. Her first visit to the valley was in early spring. She credits this as an advantage because it allowed her to watch the world slowly reveal itself to her during the course of her visit. The rolling neon green hills getting brighter every day against the vibrant blue skies. With rivers, creeks and waterfalls around every corner, she found endless opportunity for exploration. These mountain paintings are just the beginning of an ongoing series inspired by this hidden gem of Virginia.
