Sara Linda Poly grew up in the Philadelphia area, attending classes at the Philadelphia College of Art. Further education includes Montgomery College of Art and Design in Maryland and Northern VA Community College, and various studies with local and national artists.
Sara’s experience includes owning an illustration and design business, and working as the assistant gallery director and instructor at the Art League Gallery, in Alexandria, VA.
Known for her light, skies, and landscapes, Sara has been the winner of numerous awards (Including the Grand Prize at Plein Air Easton 2016 and First place for Small Paintings Show 2017) and a participant in many regional and national shows and plein air competitions.
Magazine articles include International Artist, Plein Air Magazine, and Southwest Art.
The artist has spent many years living, traveling and teaching around the US, Europe, and Mexico and currently teaches classes and workshops locally and internationally. Her work can be found in many corporate and private collections.
Memberships include The Oil Painters of America, The Washington Society of Landscape Painters, and The Salmagundi Club, NYC.
